Why Choose Us
Senior consultant obstetricians, led by the Head of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, oversee your antenatal care. 4D ultrasound and fetal monitoring support every stage, with a Fetal Medicine Unit in the same hospital if a scan needs a closer look. Labour, delivery and recovery take place in one advanced LDR room, so you are not moved between wards during birth. As a maternity hospital in Hyderabad, M'Brace also has sterile theatres, a NICU and paediatricians, so your baby's check-ups can continue here after discharge.

Common Reasons
Most pregnancies progress normally, yet questions come up at every stage. Nothing is too small to raise, and your obstetrician explains which changes are expected and which need a closer look.
Morning sickness, and when it becomes too severe to manage.
What to eat, which supplements help and healthy weight gain.
Back pain, leg cramps and mild ankle swelling.
Light bleeding or pain that needs prompt review.
When kicks start and what reduced movement means.
Which tablets are safe, plus vaccines given during pregnancy.
How the mode of birth is decided for you.
Choices for managing labour pain, discussed in advance.

Maternity Care
Each tab explains what happens from antenatal visits to your baby's first checks, and which choices you make with your obstetrician, such as pain relief, type of delivery and feeding. Plans are adjusted if closer monitoring becomes necessary.

Frequently Asked Questions
What expectant mothers most often ask when choosing where to have their baby.
As soon as a home test is positive, ideally before 8–10 weeks. The first visit confirms and dates the pregnancy with a scan, checks blood group, haemoglobin, thyroid and infections, and starts folic acid if you are not already taking it.
Usually once a month until 28 weeks, every two weeks until 36 weeks, then weekly until delivery. Your obstetrician may adjust this schedule if your pregnancy needs closer monitoring. \[→ High-Risk Pregnancy Care\]
Td (tetanus-diphtheria) is routinely given during pregnancy in India, and your obstetrician may also recommend flu vaccination depending on the season. Live vaccines are avoided until after delivery.
Most women with an uncomplicated pregnancy can plan for a vaginal birth. Your chances depend on your baby's position, your health, how labour progresses and any previous caesarean, and your obstetrician discusses these openly before your due date.
Yes. Options for managing labour pain are discussed during your antenatal visits, so you can decide in advance and still change your mind during labour if needed.
Usually one to two days after a vaginal birth and around three to four days after a caesarean, depending on how you and your baby recover.
Within the first hour after birth if you and your baby are well, including after a caesarean once you are settled. Nurses help with positioning and latching during the first feeds.
A follow-up visit around six weeks after delivery checks healing, blood pressure, mood and contraception plans. Earlier review is needed for fever, heavy bleeding, wound pain or persistent low mood.
Yes. M'Brace paediatricians provide newborn check-ups and growth reviews after discharge, so your baby's care can continue in the same system.
Yes. M'Brace offers maternity care in LB Nagar and maternity care in King Koti, with identical services, including LDR rooms and NICU support, at both Kamineni Hospitals units.
Yes. You can register for delivery in the third trimester. Bring all scan reports and blood results so your obstetrician can review them and agree a birth plan before your due date.
Kamineni Hospitals' Hyderabad units work with 150+ insurance TPAs for cashless and reimbursement claims. Maternity cover varies by policy, so check waiting periods and limits with your insurer before admission.
